Yeah, I couldn’t do it either.
This is from the California sample ballot. At least McCain and Obama aren’t right next to each other…

From CNN post re latest polling:
More Americans appear to have an unfavorable view of Gov. Sarah Palin, and that may also be helping Obama in the fight for the presidency. Forty percent now have an unfavorable view of Palin, up from 27 percent a month ago and from 21 percent in late August, when McCain surprised many people by picking the first-term Alaska governor as his running mate.
“A majority of Americans now believe that Sarah Palin would be unqualified to serve as president if it became necessary, and her unfavorable rating has doubled,” Holland said.

Don’t be fooled - the references to “character, personal relationships”, etc. are all about the McCain Camp’s desperate and pathetic attempt to frame the question:
“Seriously. You’re not really going to vote for a black guy, are you?”

So…. If he was President, he would have vetoed the bill he just voted for?

Possible, but not likely. Interesting article though…

What a difference a few weeks make. Just days after their convention, the Republicans saw their ticket actually edge in front of Obama-Biden. Sure, some of the bounce was going to evaporate, but I don’t think they saw this development coming.
Our thoughts on what to look for at tomorrow’s debate to follow…

Kudos to these kids who “found” Sarah Palin’s Facebook profile.
Lots of great detail in there.

I realize that in the instant gratification era of the 24 hours news cycle, that this might be a few days late, but Sara Palin’s interview with Katie Couric had driven me bonkers. No, not her incisive and thoughtful answers, I think we all enjoyed those. Rather it was the familiarity of her response - I knew I had heard this before. I listened to the interview several times, still nothing jarred my memory. Finally, my friend Gary nailed it.
Check out these two clips below:
And now our girl ….

For awhile we heard that conservatives were going to “hold their nose” and get behind McCain. Sometimes, you have to have look deep, and get real. And if I may say -
Brave.
Why do I think we might be seeing a little more of this in the next month…
